"The highest compliment I can give...on our next visit to Orcas, we will be staying here again! The room was spacious, nicely appointed (view, fireplace, Nespresso, heated bathroom floor), and had a cozy, yet modern feeling. The property is quiet, has easy parking, and has a shared lounge with snacks, breakfast foods and sparking/cold water. The location in Eastsound is perfect, right on the waterfront and among all the restaurants and shops. Five stars from me!

"Listing this as a one bedroom is not accurate. There is no separate bedroom. This is a studio with the bed and the pull out couch in the same room. The one room is lovely but not what we expected.

"The sucia room had a view of the water from the bed and we loved all the modern and tasteful touches. Great snacks in the pantry. The oatmeal is amazing. You really feel pampered. For improvement might be nice to have extra towels and shampoo in lounge and maybe fruit.

"We absolutely loved this unit! Top-notch building with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Modern furnishings and an extremely comfortable bed with high quality linens! Fast WiFi connection. Nice ocean view from the front windows. Centrally located and within a short drive to Moran State Park and the Ferry. We will be back!

Clean, quiet, and convenient

"Such a convenient home base for a relaxing weekend getaway, steps away from Brown Bear Baking and a short walk to The Barnacle and Matia. The Village Inn still has that new building smell (in a good way), and everything was exceptionally clean and nicely prepared. The room had a nice view of the water, and the fixtures and finishes all felt high quality. The view and finishes are perhaps only rivaled by the Water’s Edge across the street (where I stayed last year), but at a significantly higher cost. The Village Inn represents a great value for money, and I’ve already recommended it to several others. Another highlight worth mentioning is the common sitting room, which featured complimentary drinks, oatmeal, yogurt, chips, and ice cream. It may be a minor perk, but those small conveniences and nice details are greatly appreciated and made a big difference in our overall impression.

"We made our reservations on short notice and were thrilled to get a room at the Village Inn when most other Eastsound lodging was booked. My guess is our luck was due to the Inn being brand new and listed as “coming soon” on the major travel booking sites and that short notice reservations won’t last. The Inn is conveniently located in the middle of Eastsound village and our room, Sucia, overlooked Indian Island and Fishing Bay. We had luxury bedding on a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on! The room was spacious, clean, modern, and stocked with all the usual amenities with the exception of a microwave. The microwave was in a large living room space just down the hall where a large refrigerator stocked with complementary goodies was located. My only complaint was the Nespresso coffeemaker in the room. It was hard to figure out and the coffee it made wasn’t very good. I would prefer to have had a Keurig or a drip coffee maker. The pre-arrival instructions were very clear and included a keypad code for the entry door in the garage and for the room. Check-in and check-out was super convenient. In fact, we did not need to interact with any staff. There were only a couple other guests. Very private and quiet.
