About the Owners
John and Mariah Dunning have been full-time island residents for more than 26 years, each with a history on Orcas Island since childhood. Both have been business owners and entrepreneurs. Together, they own/operate the True North Realty office in Eastsound, the largest real estate office on Orcas Island, as well as NW Vacations, the largest vacation rental management company in the San Juan Islands.
Their most recent project has been the construction of the Village Inn in Eastsound. The Village Inn is an opportunity for John and Mariah to create a unique space for people and their pets to enjoy Orcas Island. With innovative, sustainable materials, the Village Inn reflects John and Mariah’s philosophy of being good stewards in this world and creating a space to enjoy the best that Orcas Island has to offer.
